COVID-19 Protocol
While we hope that everyone arrives healthy and without incident, we know many have traversed long distances in confined spaces and life can be unpredictable. If you find yourself feeling ill (or having tested positive for COVID-19), please opt to self-quarantine and alert a member of the organizing committee at PTI@IU so we may assist with any necessary arrangements.
We encourage you to social distance. Masks and hand sanitizer are available at the welcome table.
Parking near CENTRA 6 Meeting venues
If you’re driving to CENTRA 6, here is some information to help you find the best parking experience:
Tuesday Welcome Reception (JW Marriott) recommended garage: White River State Park underground garage: 801 W Washington St. Indianapolis, IN 46204 Hourly rates Map or JW Marriott Map Parking: $52
Wednesday - Friday Program meetings (University Library) recommended garage: North Street Garage, 819 W North St, Indianapolis, IN 46202 Map Hourly rates, one-day visitor: $18
Wednesday Welcome Dinner (University Tower, President’s Room) recommended garages: North Street Garage via skywalk: $18 one-day visitor (see above) or Tower Garage, 875 W North St, Indianapolis, IN 46202, connected to building: hourly rates, $18 one-day visitor Map
Thursday GALA Reception at Indiana State Museum. It’s a short walk from IUPUI, so you can stay parked there and not pay additional fees. or White River State Park underground garage (see above for rates, map, and address) Entering from the parking garage, take the stairs or the elevator up to level 3. When you get off the elevator or stairs, turn left down the hallway to enter the Canal Overlook Bridge with floor to ceiling glass windows.

Before booking travel, visitors should always confirm with airline companies and border services the procedures and restrictions in place in the country of origin and destination for required travel documents and COVID19 restrictions.

How to get to Indianapolis

The airport is located approximately 12 miles / 20 kilometers away from the meeting venue and is served by several modes of public transportation. We suggest using a private car, taxi, uber, or Lyft. The airport website has links to these options and the JW Marriott (the host hotel) has information about travel. There is no hotel shuttle to/from the JW and the Scheduled Bus Service does not stop at the JW.
